The stars of FOX's upcoming show 'Almost Family', Timothy Hutton and Brittany Snow presented the award for Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series at the 71st Primetime Emmy Awards. The nominations included David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, David Nutter, Miguel Sapochnik, all for 'Game of Thrones', Lisa Bruhlmann for 'Killing Eve', Jason Bateman for 'Ozark', Adam McKay for 'Succession', and Daina Reid for 'The Handmaid’s Tale'.

The award was given to Jason Bateman for directing the 'Ozark' episode 'Reparations'. A major win for Netflix, this is also Bateman's first Emmy win.

He was previously nominated for the same award last year and has been nominated for multiple acting awards for 'Ozark' and 'Arrested Development'. In his acceptance speech, Bateman thanked the people who helped make the show and joked about breaking up the award to distribute to everyone.

Bateman said, "the cast and the crew and the writers can have the whole planet, we'll give a wing to Netflix". He kept his speech short and ended by thanking his family. 'Ozark' was created by Bill Dubuque and Mark Williams and includes Bateman as one of its executive producers.
