Boosie Badazz is adamant about getting Rod Wave and other artists who have interpolated his work to pay up.

“That n-gga Rod Wave ain’t pull up on me,” he said. “No, I don’t own the song fully; I own a percentage of it. I still have publishing in it and writer’s credits, so I guess when he found out that, he don’t want to give me nothing.
“We going to court. Nobody contacted me, nobody gave me my publishing, nobody gave me my writer’s credit, so how you cleared it when you ain’t cleared it with me?”

Boosie has revealed that he’s kept receipts of all the artists who’ve used his music in one way or another as part of their records. And he’s looking to cash in on it soon.
Last week, a fan asked him about Rod Wave’s “Long Journey” on Instagram Live, which he claimed to have already been aware of.
